Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny has refused to travel with the squad to club’s preseason tour in United States of America, confirmed by official statement on Arsenal’s website.
The Gunners have started disciplinary action against Koscielny, Statement on Clubs website read:
“Laurent Koscielny has refused to travel to the US for our pre-season tour.
We are very disappointed by Laurent’s actions, which are against our clear instructions.
We hope to resolve this matter and will not be providing any further comment at this time.”
Arsenal/Koscielny talks late last season looked +ve. Back from break, asked for release, refused. Relayed tour decision Wed, confirmed @ Colney today. Flight 1230 without him. Not stripped of captaincy yet, must train or breach contract. #AFC have no offers, he does if free agent

The Frenchman, who has been at Arsenal for nine years now, wants to move back to France though Arsenal doesn’t have any offers on table for veteran but being a free agent Lolo does have them coming in especially with Bordeaux leading the race for his signatures.
Talking about Arsenal, they will need to find some reliable replacement for Koscielny as the probable capture of Saint-Etienne’s 18-year-old defender William Saliba is expected to see the teen return to Ligue 1 side on loan for the next season.
