Mikel Arteta has already been hit with the absence of Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac since they tested positive for Covid-19 on international duty and Willian’s actions have only rubbed salts on his wound.
Since joining the Gunners, Willian’s performances for the club have been nothing more than underwhelming. Despite that, the Brazilian believes Arteta’s the right man who can bring the best out of him. Although there have been talks in their relationship over the past few months, Willian’s recent behavior has raised severe tensions amongst the club.
Being the recent International break given more Covid-19 positive cases than exhilarating matches, questions have been already asked whether it’s necessary to break bio-bubble protocols. Tensions being that way, Willian being snubbed out from his International duties recently, he attempted to ease away by fleeing to Dubai. Despite strict protocols being followed by the Government which only allows people to leave the nation if it’s only for work/education, Willian’s departure has left the fans questioning his behavior.
Arsenal didn’t expect this kind of behavior from such an experienced guy and his justification was just unresponsive as his performance. Willian’s testification over his departure for business purposes has already been overshadowed by his visit to Nusr-Et steakhouse, a popular restaurant in Dubai where he is expected to have spent some quality time with his counterpart popularly called “Salt Bae” who greeted his arrival in his Instagram stories which left the fans fuming and ravaging the Social Media to start Nicolas Pepe over him.
Well, it can be a blessing..

Broke the rules and non-negotiables, putting health risk to his team mates. Freeze him out for rest of the season now.

So after some shocking performances, he popped over to Dubai when he should of been training during the international break.

Protocols say that even though there is no necessity for Willian to self-quarantine himself, he must provide a negative result for Covid-19 to even take part in the training. Arsenal already being in a typical nightmare season, the absence of senior players for their weekend clash against Leeds United may turn out even worse than expected.
