Arsenal star Leandro Trossard teased Manchester City supporters after he was given the marching orders from referee Michael Oliver.
Trossard had enough of the antics going around and signalled the scoreline toward the fans sitting just above the entrance to the Etihad Stadium tunnel. The incident occurred before halftime, with Trossard challenging Bernardo Silva and committing a foul in the process. The official blew the whistle, but the Gooner kicked the ball toward the far side and received a red card.
As per the Mirror, the 30-year-old had not heard Oliver blow up, and he was looking to pass the ball to teammate Gabriel Martinelli. However, the referee went straight to his pocket for the second yellow card.
At that time, the North London outfit was leading 2-1, and the tempers were boiling after every minute. The visitors came from behind to score the second via Gabriel Maghalaes‘s powerful header.
TROSSARD’S SCORELINE GESTURE TO MAN CITY FANS
Leandro Trossard made a cheeky scoreline gesture toward the fans, helping them remember who is ahead in the contest. His actions might come as a result of the opposition booing him as he went straight towards the tunnel.

The winger wasn’t happy with the decision made by the official, and even Arteta agreed that his team would need to play with 10 men for 100 games if it keeps on going like that.
Trossard will miss Arsenal’s EFL Cup clash against Bolton Wanderers but will return for this weekend Premier League match vs Leicester City after serving a one-game ban.
Arsenal fans will be familiar with this entire scenario, as former attacker Theo Walcott also teased the Spurs fans by making the scoreline gesture after the opposition fans threw coins at him in 2014. They will be very happy by the Belgian ace’s bold response to the home fans.
The game was filled with plenty of on-field drama, from players crashing into each other to managers trying everything possible to get their team over the line. Even Man City’s physio Genevesi got booked for celebrating on the pitch after the home side scored the leveller.
Manchester City players and their fans won’t have it easy when their team will come to the Emirates Stadium in the reverse Premier League fixture on the 1st of February 2025.
