Tottenham may be without their star-striker Harry Kane, when they come up against the Gunners for Quarter-final of Carabao Cup tonight.
Kane picked up cold and did not train ahead of North London Derby and it might just prevent him from featuring against Arsenal at the Emirates.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino confirmed the same ahead of the North London Derby:
‘We need to assess him because he had a cold this morning and he didn’t go outside to train.
‘Big decision. If we consider that he can cover 90 minutes, maybe he can play.
‘If not, maybe he will be on the bench.
‘To protect him, he didn’t train outside. He was doing something in the gym.’
No Harry Kane, that will be a big boost for Arsenal – something that will drive them for that win. Meanwhile, that comes as a big blow to Tottenham as he is the only recognized striker they have other than Fernando Llorente (who gets a rare appearance every now and then).
