Denis Suarez has arrived at the Emirates, is expected to make most of his relationship with Unai Emery and succeed in Premier League.
He did make his Premier League and Arsenal debut against his former club Manchester City on Sunday, coming on as second half substitute for Sead Kolasinac. What did I take from his performance against Manchester City? – Read Here…First Impression: Denis Suarez vs Manchester City
Denis Suarez, to be honest, hasn’t really played that much at Barcelona since Ernesto Valverde took over the reigns from Luis Enrique. Though if his time Pre-Valverde has to be taken notice of including his spells at Sevilla and Villareal then you see he’z much of a coup.
Denis is said to be knighted with Emery’s style of play which is tipping him to impress in the Premier League and in turn in the Fantasy Premier League.
We cannot deny the fact that Denis likes to play in the middle meanwhile Unai Emery has made his involvement on the flanks transparent. During his career, Suarez has primarily been deployed on the left side, although he also got abilities to play on the right as well. So he could step in on the right (as he did against Manchester City) for recovering Henrikh Mkhitaryan or could well supersede Alex Iwobi on the left.
Although with Bellerin injured – I would love watching him on the left where Sead Kolasinac out-runs him and he gets to drift-in and play naturally and get utmost creativity out of himself with Alexandre Lacazette in the middle and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the right.
If you are good attacking spender or you need too much to work on your defence and got some thrift to spend in the middle then at £6.5 million you will get a player of a top club in Denis Suarez, who’z got reasonable chance of scoring goals and getting some assists. Rather than spending too much on those central defenders who is just gonna support from the center or someone dignified from a smaller club you could just be in for a bargain in Denis Suarez.
Arsenal have next bunch of matches which you would expect them to win comfortably with the Gunners travelling to Huddersfield before hosting Southampton and Bournemouth respectively. Yeah, they do travel to Wembley to face homeless goblins (Totte*ham) then before hosting Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, but after those two of them they have length of easy run until the end of the season.
