Arsenal have been looking to move on Aaron Ramsdale since the emergence of David Raya, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium on a permanent transfer earlier this summer after impressing in his loan term with the Gunners. Ramsdale endured the majority of his last campaign on the bench, and he would want to ensure that he doesn’t go into another season playing a mere second fiddle role, and hence Mikel Arteta is looking to move him on this summer.
The demand for a shot-stopper at Molineux
Wolves could be a possible destination for the shot-stopper, and a lot can happen if both clubs are willing to meet on common grounds. José Sá is expected to leave Molineux this summer. He has been a remarkable player for the Old Golds and helped them reach the FA Cup quarterfinals last season.
However, manager Gary O’Neil would be targeting a younger alternative in Ramsdale.
Arsenal and Wolves in talks Over Ramsdale loan deal
Premier League side Wolves have been linked with a move for Aaron Ramsale for some time; however, the finances of the deal make it difficult for Gary O’Neil’s side.
They are said to be wanting to propose an initial loan deal that would take the England international to the Molineux Stadium for the rest of the season, with the West Midlands side holding an option to permanently sign the player, per David Ornstein. The report also states that Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to cover the majority of his wages during his loan tenure.

As initially suggested, the finances involved make it a difficult deal for Wolves, but they are in talks with Arsenal over a possible deal.
Arsenal have previously expressed interest in Wolves backup goalkeeper Dan Bentley, and Wolverhampton Wanderers may want to offer the Hale End graduate in lieu of the loan fee (or part of the loan fee).

Crystal Palace’s Sam Johnstone is also on the Wolves’ radar and is another option for them. Hence, it remains to be seen whether they succeed in luring Gunners’ star amid widespread interest.
The race will be tight, but the Wolves remain in the driver’s seat for now.
