As per TBR Football, Arsenal have sent scouts to watch Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush this week amid high interest from Premier League clubs.
The 25-year-old was in fine form last season with 17 goals and six assists as he quietly blossomed into one of the Bundesliga’s finest talents. He has continued with the same momentum with 15 goals and 10 assists to his name this campaign.
English giants Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Arsenal are firm admirers of the Egyptian star, who is currently valued at £50 million. The Gunners are targeting Sporting CP’s Victor Gyokeres, Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, and Marmoush to bolster their front-line.

However, the latter’s stocks are rising higher, and investing in him could prove to be fruitful in the long run. However, the former Wolfsburg ace has shown no interest in leaving, and as things stand, his parent club won’t accept a January proposal.
The Eagles’s sporting director, Timmo Hardung, recently revealed that the club had no discussions with Liverpool or any other club and that he won’t allow a winter transfer. Talking about the potential rumours, he said:
“We have not had any contact with Liverpool regarding Marmoush. No negotiations or contacts. There are no contacts with any club regarding the player. We do not want to dispense with him. We do not want to sell him, certainly [not] in January. There is no reason to sell him in the winter.”
WILL FRANKFURT SELL ARSENAL TRANSFER TARGET OMAR MARMOUSH?
Frankfurt are currently placed second in the Bundesliga table. Hence, selling their top players will disrupt their progress, and they won’t be in favour of that. Marmoush is expected to remain on the radar of these top clubs, and they might ponder a move in the summer.
The African honcho’s style of play resembles that of Mo Salah, and his career trajectory speaks volumes of his commitment towards the sport. Arsenal are in need of a forward of his calibre, but it remains to be seen whether they intensify their pursuit in the upcoming months.
Frankfurt have sold some of their top players at massive fees, but many of them have failed to live up to the expectations in foreign leagues. Players like Luka Jovic, Andre Silva, Sebastian Haller, and Kolo Muani struggled to replicate their form.

Hence, Marmoush’s transfer will be dependent upon whether he can maintain his stunning form at a different club unlike his predecessors.
