Mohamed-Ali Cho has been part of Arsenal’s scouting targets for sometime now, by the looks of it, though as per the latest reports – the Gunners are said to have ‘pulled out’ from any deal, ‘for now’.
Mohamed-Ali Cho, born in Stains, France, spent about five years at the Merseyside making strides at the Everton’s youth teams. Though he eventually left the Toffees moving back to France with SCO Angers. And boy-oh-boy he has become one of the revelations of Ligue 1’s talent pool off late, having already made eighteen league appearances at seventeen. Cho scored a couple of goals in the process, and his maturity on the ball has caught eyes of many clubs including that of Arsenal.
So, Why Arsenal stepped back? – That’s unclear for now. Though the fact that mighty clubs circling him makes him a highly ‘coveted’ player. For me, possibly the enormous asking price; Angers’ president spoke with Ouest-France at the weekend where he was particular to suggest that any deal to take the starlet away from Stade Raymond Kopa need to be somewhere ‘in between €40-50m’.
Angers’ certainly aim to ‘keep him until the end of the season’, and if any deal were to happen in winter – there’d be a ‘condition’ to loan him back for the rest of the campaign.
Arsenal s’est pour le moment retiré du dossier Momo Ali Cho !!
Les convoitises sont nombreuses… Rennes veille !! #AFC #COYG #AngersSCO
