Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has provided fans with some good news as he hopes to return to the field in just four to five weeks.
The Brazilian striker has been out with an injury since the World Cup but is now on the road to recovery. It was a bad blow to the Arsenal man who had been key to their season until then.
Despite not scoring a truckload of goals since his arrival from Manchester City, Jesus has been very crucial to Mikel Arteta’s system. His off the ball work is very crucial to the expansive style of football we have been playing.
In his absence, Arsenal could have struggled but Eddie Nketiah has stepped up unbelievably. The English striker is on fire and this could be a huge conundrum once Jesus returns from injury.
Even against Manchester United in that sensational last-minute 3-2 win, Nketiah came up with a brace and a case can be made that the Englishman is a more prolific goal scorer than the former Man City man.
Regardless, we all know how important Jesus is and his return can’t come sooner. If Jesus indeed returns in a month or so, it will be great for Arsenal as we gear up for the trickiest part of the season yet.
