With majority of Arsenal’s incoming business over the line, the focus fairly shifted to outgoings. Bernd Leno joined Fulham earlier this week which was followed by rumours around Lucas Torreira whose future should be resolved by end of the week and Pablo Mari looks set on his way to Italy. This leaves Arsenal with Hector Bellerin and Maitland-Niles on the transfer out list.
There haven’t been alot of rumours surrounding future of AMN, though Hector Bellerin’s future looks likely to be resolved soon. Despite a number of suitors, Bellerin wants to sanction a move to Real Betis – one where he played all of last season on loan and one that his family duly supports. And he’s willing to cross boundaries to play for the club that his father loves…
Initially, he asked Arsenal to lower his asking price and when that led to nowhere, he has taken matter upon his own hands. According to a report by BeSoccer, Hector Bellerin is ready to relinquish one year’s wage at Arsenal (essentially terminating his current contract) to move to Real Betis.
SportItalia reporter Rudy Galetti has come out saying that the move is in the pipeline and could be completed soon with Hecky’s return to Spain just a ‘matter of time’.
He has been a fantastic servant to the club for eleven years, and sadly it’s time for him to get near to his family and move to a place he loved growing up.
