Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has been ruled out of Saturday’s trip to Leicester with a hamstring injury.
The Spaniard limped off during the second half of Wednesday’s draw with Vitoria in Europa League and was unable to continue though the injury didn’t appear to be a serious one.
Unai Emery said after the game on Wednesday that he hoped the injury wasn’t too serious and the North London club have now confirmed Ceballos is being assessed and will not be available for selection when Arsenal travel to King Power Stadium for Saturday’s match against Leicester.
Club Statement:
Left hamstring. Sustained during the Vitoria (a) match on November 6. Currently being assessed, but will miss Saturday’s match at Leicester City.
No other first team squad players are unavailable due to injury.
Beyond Dani Ceballos, Arsenal have no other injury concerns to worry about and the Boss is expected to recall a number of players with the likes of Bernd Leno, David Luiz, Hector Bellerin, Matteo Guendouzi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
