She made her senior debut for Everton in May 2010 at the age of 16. She made a total of 37 appearances and scored a total of 12 goals for the club. After enjoying a brief spell at Everton, she then joined Manchester City in January 2016 after a successful season-long loan spell. Parris made a total of 72 appearances for the Cityzens in which she scored a total of 37 goals across all competitions.
On 19th June 2019, Parris signed a three-year contract with the Division 1 Féminine side Olympique Lyonnais. She then scored in her debut match against Marseille. In a Covid pandemic struck Lyon career, she made a total of 30 appearances for the French club and scored an impressive goal across all competitions.
What she brings to the table for the Gunners
Parris is a great talent and a budding prospect for the England Women’s team who have a natural eye for scoring goals. She has proven that from a very young age for Everton then for Manchester City. And now, after a fantastic goal-scoring time at the French club Lyon, the Gunners fans and the whole club will expect her to do the same for her new club Arsenal and win some trophies for the Gunners. Also, now that she is 27 years old, she has enough experience and will be at the peak of her career, so we can say Arsenal will have a great asset in their hands by signing Parris. The inclusion of Parris will boost Arsenal’s forward line, with the Gunners already having signed Japenese international Mana Iwabuchi from Aston Villa and also, a potential signing of the French international Kenza Dali, who left West Ham last month.
