Team News
Arsenal will be hoping to have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back from illness. Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hector Bellerin, Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi are all expected to be back in the side to face Fulham.
Injury to Petr Cech means Brend Leno is now expected to retain his place with third choice keeper Emiliano Martinez on the bench.
Meanwhile, Ainsley Maitland-Niles (leg), Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) are all missing.
Fulham will be seen without Timothy Fosu-Mensa and Joe Bryan with shoulder and hamstring injuries they faced last weekend. Meanwhile midfielder who returned to the side last weekend is expected to start on Sunday. Alfie Mawson is in contention to start the game.
The Arsenal loanee Calum Chambers at Fulham will be ineligible to play against his parent club.
What the managers said
Unai Emery: “Fulham is a very big challenge for us, first because it’s away and second because each match in the Premier League is very, very difficult.
“Fulham bought very good players like Seri, like Anguissa, and they have Mitrovic and Schurrle too.
“We need to push against them on Sunday and show our best performance.”
Slavisa Jokanovic: “We cannot be satisfied with this spell during this first seven games, it’s huge room ahead of us to improve and we must try and work hard to fix all our problems.
“One of these is conceding so many goals and we are working in this direction to try find a solution.
“This is not our best level…we need to be more ambitious and need to show more aggression and more speed.”
