Arsenal supporters were excited about Krystian Bielik after his impressive performances for Charlton last campaign, helping them promote to the championship.
However, Unai Emery decided against giving Bielik his Arsenal chance and decided to cash in for £8m as he joined Derby in the summer without making his Premier League debut for the Gunners.
Young Bielik wasn’t impressed with lack of opportunities at N5 and was surprised that Emery didn’t evem give him a chance to impress at Emirates.
“I wasn’t frustrated,” Bielik speaking with Totally Football Show when he was quizzed about his time at Arsenal and his exit.
“I was surprised that I didn’t really get a chance. You know, I thought I deserved to get a chance in the first team at Arsenal.
“I just felt that there was no future for me at Arsenal anymore. There is a new manager who’s thinking different than Arsene Wenger.
“It is how it is. It is football, a new manager comes to the club, he brings his coaching staff, he’s got different thinking about football and that’s it, you know?”
