Jorginho came under ample of wrongful criticisms by the english media following that disastrous defeat against the referees at the St. James Park last weekend. And while many of ex-Arsenal players have come forward in-support of Mikel, of Arsenal, and of Jorginho.
Speaking about support, even West Ham ace Michail Antonio spoke about the incident in The Footballer’s Football Podcast: “To be honest in that game the way that game went I probably would’t have shaken someone’s hand if I was Jorginho. I’m not shaking your hand bro. I’m a sore loser. I’m not shaking your hand.”
“Bruno, I feel like he should have got red carded, that looked blatant. I’ve never seen something so blatant in my life.”
“Then the way they conceded, some of the challenges, it was a high intense game. There was arguments and everything in it. The fact they lost and they lost with so much emotion in the game, I ain’t shaking anyone’s hand! Why are you even coming to me? Get lost! No time.”
“I fully understand why Jorginho didn’t want to shake his hand. They lost and I fully agree.”
Ex-Arsenal player Ian Wright also loved how Arsenal backed Mikel and everything the corrupt PGMOL is doing against us: ‘I still feel Mikel was well within his rights. I’m happy with Arsenal backing their manager because we’re seeing mistakes on a scale now that, something has to be said. Why shouldn’t the club back him if what Mikel said was fine? Why can’t we critique them?’
