Arsenal have started the Premier League season with a bang as the Gunners got better of Wolves at the Emirates Stadium earlier today.
While the game started with Emirates Stadium roaring that it’s max vocals and the first goal from Kai Havertz ensured that the half-time beers got chugged while signing in the stands, however, the game got a bit nervy in the second half as Gary O’Neil’s side started winning second balls and momentum started to shift their way.
The Gunners were suddenly chasing bodies as Wolves moved the ball brilliantly. However, the compact block from Mikel Arteta’s side made the defence difficult to penetrate, and Bukayo Saka came in with a beautiful finish to put the game to bed and secure the three points on the opening day.
Gunners unstoppable with Bukayo Saka in inspired form
Mikel Arteta liked what he saw from the England international and went on to compare his presence with that of Lionel Messi, who is arguably the greatest ever player in the history of the game. The Argentine has won many games for club and country, and that is a trait young Saka has also shown to be capable of time and time again.
The Hale End academy graduate has won many games for Arsenal and England, and that is exactly what he did for the Gunners today when he curled that shot in the near post past Jose Sa to give some breathing room at the Emirates Stadium and ultimately win the game for Arsenal once again.

When you look back at the goal, you can see that the Wolves players know that he is going to cut in and roll his feet under the ball, but they couldn’t do much about it owing to the quality that B possesses, and Arteta insists that the same things used to happen with Messi when he cut inside as well.
Speaking to Football London after the game, the boss said, “With good players, it’s like that. With Messi, I know he’s going to come in and do that, but you can’t stop him.”
Kai Havertz continues to rave about Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka is the face of Arsenal and of the Premier League, and he showed exactly why he is highly rated among the club and being feared by the rivals.
In the first half, Saka put in a beautiful cross to Kai Havertz, who netted the Arsenal opener. And he went on to score one himself in the second half.

Havertz also termed his teammate as incredible after the game, saying, “He’s unbelievable. There’s not a lot of players like him on the planet. He’s still so young; he can still get better. It’s very rare to see a young player like this.”
Saka is up and ready for the new season, and if he continues to perform like he did against Wolves, the Gunners have a mighty chance to kiss the Premier League trophy this season.
