Moises Caicedo asks Brighton & Hove Albion to allow him to join current league leader Arsenal, despite the club denying the transfer.
The initial £60 million bid from Arsenal for midfielder Moises Caicedo was reportedly rejected by Brighton. The player has, however, publicly thanked the Brighton fans for their support and hinted that he hopes the club will consider the Gunners’ offer.
Caicedo, in a statement, expressed his pleasure at having secured Brighton a transfer sum that would set a new record and be used to further the club’s development.
He went on to say that he thinks the supporters will understand why he wants to take advantage of such a great opportunity as playing for Arsenal.

The move would be a great one for Arsenal, as Caicedo has proven that he can score goals at the highest level. He is a strong, physical striker who can hold the ball up well and bring others into play.
He would be a valuable addition to the team and would provide competition for the existing forwards.
