Nicolas Pepe has urged Arsenal fans and probably the club’s board as well, to be patient with Freddie Ljungberg after the Swede attempts to inaugurate his methods after chaotic few weeks.
Freddie Ljungberg was appointed as Arsenal’s interim manager after Unai Emery was relieved of his managerial duties but has so far failed to turn things around at N5. Standard Sports reported that Arsenal hierarchy would be considering Freddie for the permanent position but one point against Norwich and Brighton would not help Swede’s cause.
But you should – Never Back Down…
Despite no immediate change in form, Arsenal were able to get three points of struggling West Ham with ten minutes of intense play taking it all away from the Hammers and Nicolas Pepe, who was on target at Olympic Stadium, layed his vote on Freddie.
“There have been some changes schedule-wise in terms of the training Ljungberg has his own way of dictating training.
“Obviously he has already shared his vision. There have been a few tactical changes, but it takes time for everything to settle.”
This is Arsenal’s worst run of form since 1977 but Pepe understands the pressure as the winger went eleven games without a win with Lille during 2017/18 season.
“Obviously it is a frustrating situation for us, but it is nothing new [for me],” added Pepe.
“When I was at Lille we had a bit of the same, we went 10, 11 games without a win and obviously this adds to the pressure. We know that our fans have a lot of expectations from us.”
