Pierre didn’t make a competitive appearance for the Red side of Milan but feels ‘lucky’to have shared field with a number of footballing greats.
Aubameyang talked to Arsenal Player about his time at AC Milan:
“When I was at Milan, I was very young, with very little experience,” he told Arsenal Player. “But it was there that I learned how to become a professional. I was lucky because there were lots of top players there at the time, like Maldini, Nesta, Kaka, Seedorf, Ronaldo.
“I was quite shy as a person, but I was keen to watch what these top players did and I learned a lot that way.”
Aubameyang’s father was a scout at AC Milan and both of his brothers have represented the Rossoneri, So Who will Aubaeyang and his support this Thursday?
“At home they’ll be cheering on Arsenal. But of course we still have a lot of respect for them. They helped us a great deal – the whole family. We were very fortunate to spend time there.”
