Real Madrid plotting DREAM Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang move

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang grabbed headlines when he scored a hat-trick against Valencia in the second leg of the Europa League semifinal tie to help Arsenal reach the final. But that has also attracted unwanted interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has endured a torrid season and has reappointed French boss Zinedine Zidane to bring back the glory days of the past. The Spanish giants are still unable to replace departed Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals as the star winger left the Santiago Bernabeu as the club’s all-time top scorer after netting 450 times.

Zidane has insisted that Real Madrid will make a splash in the summer transfer window as an overhaul is on the cards. The Los Blancos were initially keen on signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic in the summer but have now turned their sights on Arsenal forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang instead.

Aubameyang arrived at the Emirates Stadium back in the January transfer window of 2018 and has gone on to become one of the key players for Arsenal leading their attack. However, the 29-year-old is desperate to win silverware and play in the Champions League and he could leave the club if Arsenal fails to win the Europa League this season.

Arsenal has a very unlikely chance of finishing inside the top four of the Premier League table and their only hope of playing in the elite competition lies on winning the Europa League and progressing through the back door. The Gunners made it into the final thanks to Aubameyang’s inspired hat-trick against Valencia in the Europa League semifinal and Arsenal will now play Chelsea in the final of the competition in Baku.

But Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a £65 million bid to sign the prolific goalscorer in the summer and lure him to the Spanish capital. It’s no doubt that Aubameyang will still score plenty of goals for the La Liga outfit if he decides to make the move.

Aubameyang has scored 29 goals for Arsenal this season and also got six assists in all competitions which have alerted Real Madrid’s attention.
