Dani Ceballos joined Arsenal to work once again with Unai Emery as the Spaniard was headed to the Emirates on loan from Real Madrid signing a one year deal with the Gunners in search for some first team football.
Ceballos stared his life in London pretty impressively quickly earning plaudits from fans and pundits alike. Though his form soon faded complemented by injuries impacting his performances in middle of the season.
However, Ceballos did make an impact on Emery despite him being replaced by Mikel Arteta in December, with the former Sevilla manager being quick to praise the Real Madrid man in an interview with AS.
“Dani is a player who has excellent qualities and an incredible mentality,” Emery speaking with AS.
“He wants to succeed. For Arsenal, he was a great market opportunity.
“He played with me, then he got injured and was out for a while, he recovered, and now, when he plays again, it’s a question of him showing his talent again.”
The midfielder only appeared for twenty-four games this season and is expected to leave as soon as the transfer window opens, although there have been rumours about Arsenal perusing his services cometh the summer.
