Italian giants Inter Milan, Juventus, and Napoli have expressed interest in signing Arsenal right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu in the upcoming January transfer window.
The 25-year-old Japanese international is yet to feature for the Gunners in the new campaign following a knee injury in the preseason.
While Mikel Arteta has preferred to use Ben White as his number one option in the right side of defence, Jurrien Timber’s return to full fitness has pushed Tomiyasu further behind in the defensive order.
The manager still holds him in high regard amid rumours of a potential exit in the upcoming months.

The Japanese international moved to the North London outfit from Bologna in 2021 and has been fantastic presence in the Gunners backline.
Tomi is a kind of defender who puts his body on the line but he struggled with a calf injury last season. Yet he managed to make 30 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists. It was expected that the full-back would play a promising role this term, but another blow at the start of the campaign restricted his chances to make an impact.

Arsenal are holding for £25 million for their prised asset. But they can make this transfer easier for Inter if they include Yann Bisseck in this deal.
Arteta’s side is willing to offer the Japanese star in exchange for the young centre-back. The manager admires the rising star Yann Bisseck and is impressed by his recent displays for Nerazzurri’s senior side. The German put up a colossal display for the reigning Italian champions against Manchester City in the Champions League.
There are numerous ways for the Premier League giants to execute this deal, but it remains to be seen whether they are absolutely ready to sell the right-back.

Tomiyasu recently signed a new contract, extending until 2027. This means the club has kept him in their plans, and the supporters are also happy to have him in the squad.
It will be interesting to see whether we get any developments in this rumour or the player stays put at the Emirates for one more season.
