Arsenal are still interested in roping in long-term transfer target Noa Lang, who has found his footing for Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven this season.
The Gunners were always on the lookout for a quality winger to support Bukayo Saka on the right-wing spot. They signed Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea, and it was thought to be a clever move on paper.
But it’s still a short-term fix, and the club will feel the void of having a better option next year. They might have options on the table, but not every target is worth investing in at the moment.
The North London-based club has earmarked PSV Eindhoven’s Lang as an ideal attacking option and could explore a deal in January.

As per journalist Dean Jones of GiveMeSport, signing the 25-year-old won’t be easy since Liverpool are also in the fray. Hence, Arsenal need to up the ante in their pursuit of the former Ajax star.
WHO IS DUTCH STAR NOA LANG?
Lang spent his formative years at Capelle aan de IJssel before riding through the academies of four Dutch clubs. He finally graduated from Ajax’s youth division before joining Belgian outfit Club Brugge in 2021.
He played for two years at Jan Breydel Stadium and scored 16 goals in 70 games. PSV Eindhoven were impressed by his outfit and decided to land him in the 2023 summer.
He has already scored four goals and provided two assists in 12 games this season. Lang scored back-to-back goals against UCL opponents Paris Saint-Germain and Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle.

The 25-year-old is a high-energy player, and his ability to keep the ball close to his body makes it difficult for opponents to deal with him. He always looks to provide crosses into the box with his desired left foot. He can also operate as a central midfielder or play as a backup for Saka at RW.
The player’s agent, Bart Baving, has even compared him to Brazilian superstar Neymar due to his excellent dribbling and vision. Signing him won’t come cheap since the versatile Dutch starlet’s contract expires in 2028.
However, he earns a meagre £25k per week. The Gooners could lure him by offering a pay rise if he moves to the Emirates Stadium in January.

Lang played against Arsenal last season before an injury forced him to remain on the sidelines. His return, followed by some brave performances against Europe’s top clubs, will surely reignite the interest of other potential suitors in the upcoming months.
