‘Leave recruitment to Mislintat!’ – Arsenal fans not happy with £18m Ever Banega news

Ever Banega has popped up on Arsenal’s rumor list multiple times now and the Argentine has snapped his way back up that transfer rumors linking him to Arsenal lately.

Despite failed approach to sign the midfielder in the Summer, its said that the Gunners are back in for the 30-year-old with an anticipated deal in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Eldesmarque reports that Unai Emery wants to link up once again with Ever Banega and that Arsenal have been preparing a swoop for the past few months, as they see him as someone who could potentially replace Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park.

The reports claim that – former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis met with Banega in the summer, only for him to turn down to stay at Sevilla. But he is yet to sign a new deal at Sevilla and it is believed that Arsenal could instead seal his services in January for something around £18 million.

But a prospect of him replacing Aaron Ramey has not gone down with about everyone, former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton believes that Arsenal would be making a mistake if they allowed Aaron to leave.

“I would [give him a deal],” said Sutton.

“It seems to be his desire to leave but he is such an important player for Arsenal.

“Who are Arsenal going to get in who can do a better job?”

Aaron Ramsey has tally of one goal and six assists in 15 league appearances this season.

Gooners also believe getting Banega for would not prove influential, as they took to Twitter to express their unwillingness;
