Leicester City are considering to launch a transfer bid for Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney, who arrived at Emirates only last summer from Celtic in a £25 million deal.
According to Bleacher Report, Ben Chilwell may leave Leicester City for Chelsea or Manchester City in the summer and the club have identified Tierney as Chilwell’s replacement.
Ben Chilwell has emerged as a key member of Brendan Rodgers side and is thought to be a top target for Chelsea. The 23-year-old England has his contract with Leicester until 2024 and the Foxes are reluctant to let him go. They are currently holding talks with the England left-back over a new contract.
But if Ben Chilwell leaves this summer, the Foxes will make a move for Arsenal left-back Tierney.
Kieran Tierney has played under Brendan Rodgers in his time at Celtic, where they won seven trophies and the Leicester boss is willing to gamble on the services of the 22-year-old despite injuries has prevented him from featuring on a regular basis for Arsenal this season.
However, Arsenal supporters seriously sceptical on the matter. Down below are some of the reactions to the recent reports on social media.
