Ethan Nwaneri broke the record for being the youngest player to ever play in the Premier League and is taking strides in his development despite only being sixteen.
When he graces the age of 17 towards the conclusion of the current month, he will have to take up a decision on his future and pen down his first professional contract.
According to a report by Football Insider, Ethan Nwaneri is all set to sign his first professional contract with Arsenal despite interests from Manchester City and Chelsea. It is believed that the offer tabled to Ethan is the highest salary that the club have ever given to an academy player with the deal is thought to be “substantial.”
This shows how highly the people in the background at Arsenal rate Nwaneri. Arsenal fans have now had a few glimpses of the youngster gracing Premier League football for the Gunners over the last couple of seasons and how silky he can be with ball at his feet.
Ethan Nwaneri made his first team debut for the Gunners last season in a cameo appearance off-the-bench against Brentford ageing just fifteen. He has already made an appearance this season, coming off the bench against West Ham United at the London Stadium. He only played 13 minutes but did make a few silky touches and had an opportunity to show his talent in the final third a few times as Arsenal won 6-0.
