Premier League rivals Arsenal are set to face host Tottenham Hotspur in the thrilling North London derby on the 15th of September.

Mikel Arteta’s side has secured seven points from a possible nine, going into the international break off the back of a draw against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Meanwhile, Spurs have four points, and they lost their last encounter against Newcastle United before heading to the break.

The Gunners are favourites to win this contest, but Ange Postecoglou’s team unpredictability makes the game even more exciting to watch.

The odds will favour the visitors having won their last five away matches and their unbeaten streak currently extending to eight games in the Premier League. Spurs won their last league contest against Arsenal in May 2022.

HERE IS HOW ARSENAL COULD LINEUP VS TOTTENHAM

Defence: David Raya; Ben White; Gabriel Maghalaes; William Saliba; Riccardo Calafiori; Jurrien Timber.

Raya is an absolute starter, and he will be supported by a five-man defence. White will cover the right-back spot as usual, with Timber playing as a left-back. The fullbacks are expected to play a high line and support both midfield and defence.

Meanwhile, Saliba and Gabriel will get a new partner in Calafiori. The former Bologna ace returns to his favourite centre-back position.

Midfield: Thomas Partey, Martin Ødegaard.

Declan Rice’s red card incident made Arteta alter his midfield plans to switch to a more conservative approach. Captain Odegaard’s creativity and Partey’s anchoring skills will be on display vs. Spurs. Mikel Merino is still injured and won’t make it to the bench for this clash.

Attack: Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.

Arsenal have scored at least three goals in their past six games against Tottenham Hotspur. They will display a similar attacking threat next week, with Saka being the favourite to land a huge blow to the rivals once again.

The right-winger scored in both derbies last season. Havertz is in scintillating form for club and country. He will aim to add more goals to his tally. Martinelli will support him on the left side of the attack, but we expect Leandro Trossard to take his place in the second half.

MUST READ: Would Raheem Sterling start vs Tottenham Hotspur?

Raheem Sterling was seen training with White, and the pair might work their magic on the right flank for the Gunners. The new summer signing is available on the bench. Striker Gabriel Jesus remains a doubt.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham Hotspur: Raya, White, Saliba, Magalhaes, Calafiori, Timber, Partey, Ødegaard, Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.
