The two Arsenal forwards Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have formed quite a dynamic partnership on the field and the Gunners faithful will be glad to know that they complement each other away from football as well.

Arsenal finished in fifth place on the Premier League table but had another chance at qualifying for the Champions League if they beat local London rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final. However, a 4-1 humiliation for the North London side proved that Arsenal boss Unai Emery still has a massive task on his hands.

However, there were still positives to take from the campaign and one boost is the fact that they’re attacking duo are absolutely world class. Aubameyang and Lacazette shared 50 goals between them and have formed quite a deadly partnership in the attacking third which will trouble plenty of back lines next season.

Gabon international Pierre Emerick Aubameyang netted 31 times while French forward Alexandre Lacazette contributed a further 19 and the two players have a comfortable relationship which is visible for the fans.

Back in October, Lacazette was asked about his relationship with Aubameyang and the 28-year-old said, “It is good. He is like my brother, every day we talk, we love to work together and today in front of the goal and we score, for us, two goals, which is good.”

Most recently, last month, Aubameyang explained that he shares a similar relationship with his strike partner, “We have the same vision about football when we talk in the dressing room, the same ideas and the same feelings. The fact that we understand each other is the thing that makes the difference in the games,”

During Spain’s 3-0 win over Sweden last week, Sergio Ramos allowed Alvaro Morata to take the penalty to improve the striker’s confidence and his gesture was reminded of Lacazette’s a few months ago when he was playing for Arsenal.

Back in March, Lacazette offered a penalty that he won against Manchester United to Aubameyang and the 29-year-old converted from the spot. Comments from Arsenal fans on social media are showing that they are certainly eager to see the duo once again play together.
