There is no denying the fact that Eddie is a goal scorer; however, the minutes coming his way are slim as the Gunners already have Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus ahead of the 25-year-old in the pecking order. This forces Arsenal’s No. 14’s hand into a potential exit this summer as numerous clubs’s lineups seek his signature.
After failed Marseille and Forest moves, Nketiah signs for Palace
While Nketiah has been on the market all summer, his transfer window has been a topsy-turvy ride. Initially, everything pointed to Eddie moving to French top-tier side Marseille, as Roberto de Zerbi looked to snap his services after watching him closely during his time in England. However, the Ligue 1 side ended up haggling the Gunners with low fees, and the deal eventually fell through.
His move to France fell apart, causing Premier League sides to make an attempt to obtain his signature. This pushed Nottingham Forest to intensify interest in landing his services. The West Bridgford side went on to agree on payment fees and terms with Arsenal, and everything pointed towards Eddie ending up at City Ground this summer. However, there have been some disagreements between the player, his representatives, and Forest, which have led the transfer to fall through.
Now, Eddie may have finally found his calling.

Glasner convinces Eddie Nketiah to join Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace are set to acquire the England international, with the Eagles finding a £25m fixed fee plus £5m add-ons agreement with Arsenal for Nketiah. The player has also accepted terms with the club and is all set to undergo medicals for a move to Selhurst Park. He will soon head to Coppers Cope Lane to complete the final formalities of his move to Palace.
Oliver Glasner is said to have played a massive role in convincing him to move to Palace as he urged the Arsenal star to hold off a Nottingham Forest move and remain patient as the Eagles swooped in for his signatures.
Eddie will be one of the highest paid players at Crystal Palace, and his transfer fee also sums out to the second highest selling fee for the Gunners.
