Yet another Brazilian has been linked with Arsenal.
According to Yahoo Brasil, Palmeiras wonderkid Gabriel Veron is being monitored by Arsenal.
The Brazilian outfit is said to be willing to sell the forward for a fee anywhere around £26 million mark. Of what I’ve seen inVeron, this sum may end up pretty cheap when talked about few years down the line.
It is surely a risk to invest in young talents but after the success of Gabriel Martinelli in his debut season at Arsenal, the North Londoners would not think twice to get a him Brazilian commodore.
Veron is a quality individual and was awarded as FIFA under-17 World Cup in the recent edition. Veron plays as a right winger and could therefore link pretty well with Gabriel Martinelli who has already scored 10 first team goals at the age of eighteen.
Having two ‘Gabriels’ up on the field would be lovely to the eyes and to see them outperforming the opposition together would be no less than a treat in disguise.
The Gunners would also have two of the brightest Brazilian talent of the upcoming decade and may well enjoy them for a long time in future. They both working together would definitely make each other better while giving reaping benefits to the team as well.
Spending £26 million on a youngster would be no problem for a club that spent nearly £70 million on getting young Nicolas Pepe home.
