As revealed by youth expert Jeorge Bird, Manchester United have completed the signing of former Arsenal starlet Hubert Graczyk, with the transfer set to be announced soon.
Manchester United sign former Arsenal U21 shot-stopper
The Polish goalkeeper’s contract with the Gunners expired on July 1st, and the club decided not to extend his stay at the Emirates. They had no option but to release them due to the youngster’s poorly managed loan spell at Slough Town.
United, under the leadership of INEOS, are aiming to strengthen their youth ranks this summer. They have acquired winger Samuel Lusale and defensive midfielder Sekou Kone. They are now on the run to sign players from their rival Premier League club.

Graczyk was called up by the Polish and English youth sides during his early days. The 21-year-old played 31 games for Arsenal’s U21 side and 30 games for the U18 side.
Although Man United are yet to make an official announcement, he was already seen on the bench for their U21 side’s recent match against Blackburn Rovers. The keeper announced his new beginning on his social media.

Graczyk is confident with the ball and can initiate attacks from the back. He communicates well with the defenders. The goalkeeper, while taking to the Gooner’s official website in 2023, revealed that he wants to improve his ability to deal with crosses. He said:
“What I’m particularly working on at the moment is dealing with crosses. That’s a big one for me. I’m not the biggest goalkeeper, I’m 6ft 1in which is on the smaller side for a keeper.”
Arsenal continue to oversee a mass exodus in their goalkeeping department
The young Polish keeper was one of the six goalkeepers to leave the North London outfit over the summer. The other departures were:
1. James Hillson to Southend
2. Arthur Okonkwo to Wrexham
3. Noah Cooper to Stoke
4. Ovie Ejeheri to Midtjylland
5. Owen Asemota to Aston Villa
Along with these, senior shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale also moved to Southampton for a fee of around £25 million.
Talking about incomings, former Brentford keeper David Raya signed permanently for the Gunners, and Neto arrived on loan from Bournemouth on the deadline day.
Arsenal are also poised to lose former academy player Chido Obi-Martin to Man United this month. The 16-year-old forward scored 32 goals for their U18s.
