THE BEGINNING
Julio Pleguezuelo took his first steps with Spanish side Atletico Baleares based in his hometown of Palma but soon joined Espanyol’s youth setup. After six years at Espanyol he moved to Atletico Madrid just before signing for Barcelona.
Arsenal signed Julio from Barcelona in 2013 at the age of sixteen he looked a real prospect to get hands on.
Pleguezuelo started to feature for Under 21’s in his first season at Arsenal before going to captain them in 2015-16. In order to develop himself Julio was sent back to his country to play in second division with Mallorca. Julio features for Under 23’s with Arsenal at the moment.
WHAT MAKES HIM DANGEROUS?
Julio Pleguezuelo can play around the defence but preferred centrally. He can maintain possession and is someone who can move the ball around. He is tipped for big things from his time with Barcelona.

Now, Pleguezuelo needs to fulfil his potential in Under 23’s and make his chances for FA and League fixtures. He is already twenty and has to get into first team as soon as possible. Still he has time to develop himself into a potent threat at the middle of the defence as the expectations continue to remain high from him.
