We’ve already signed Xhaka on a five-year extension, confirming a major role in the side. Then we have Lucas Torreira to pair up with him. If both of them does start together, even without more new signings, we’re going to have to bench a star player. Assuming we play with four at the back and then two in the holding role there can only be four players further forward. Starting options up top are: Ramsey, Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette and Aubameyang.
Remember, that’s if we don’t buy another winger as rumored.
Arsenal are recently linked with Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman. Yes, he is highly regarded at ‘What he does’ and has made a reputation for himself. Bayern paid big to snap him up from Juventus, and getting him won’t really be cheap (and it’s a risk too). But, Do we really need him?
The only thing Coman assures is, Henrikh Mkhitaryan being demoted to bench. However, I think that it’s just not fair.
Ever since joining the Premier League, Mkhitaryan has been neglected as a player. He was named the Bundesliga Player of the season just couple of years ago with an outrageous tally of 11 goals and 15 assists in just 28 starts, then joined the Premier League only to be another Mourinho’s stash away player.
He scored 10 goals despite of limited play time backed by limited play. Last season he had a goal and five assists in very little time with Manchester United, before joining Arsenal, cementing a starting role, and becoming one of our best player at the end of the season.
At his best, Mkhitaryan is borderline world class.
When you’re being benched alot and never given the chance, you are destined to be out performed due to confidence and lack of faith from the manager. That did happen with Lacazette last season, right?
If Mkhitaryan can cement a true starting role next season, he can link with the strikers brilliantly and prove his world class talent, crossing and all around brilliance. Watch out for him next season, insists invinciblearsenal.

On the other hand, if he is already likely to be benched, Why would we sign Kingsley Coman as well? Are we just going to send Mkhitaryan down the gutter like Manchester United did?
He should have a major role in our side, and I like Coman but unless he is willing to be a rotation player who doesn’t start often, we shouldn’t sign him. Stop sleeping on Mkhitaryan.
