Arsenal’s pursuit for a winger was known for a long time, before they finally settled for Nicolas Pepe. Though the names viz. Wilfred Zaha and Lucas Vazquez were among the run as well and the latest reports by Cadena Ser claims that Vasquez rejected three clubs to ensure his stay at Real Madrid.
Lucas has spent better part of his career with the Los Blancos – except that 2014/15 campaign where he represented Espanyol, and is viewed as one of them who bleeds Real.
Vazquez has started only four of twelve League games this year and he is not surplus to the requirements though he also is someone replaceable at Santiago Bernabeau.
Lucas Vazquez was approached by Bayern, Arsenal and Man United last summer, he rejected them all in order to stay at Real Madrid. He’s valued at 20m euros by the club. [@OndaCero_es] pic.twitter.com/CcHWtcKlwu

El Desmarque, last month, claimed that Gunners were in run for the Spainard with Roma as well as Bayer Leverkusen also in the running.
Yet, it is claimed Vasquez rejected the likes of Arsenal as well as Manchester United to stay at the Spanish capital.
Lucas is valued at about $20 million by Real.
