Arsenal travel away to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to face off against Manchester City as the Premier League resumes after nearly two weeks of international break.
Manchester City are yet to take off in the league and have picked up just the four points from their opening three games. Guardiola’s team was held to a 1-1 draw against Leeds United in their last league outing, leaving the team in 14th place.
Arsenal will be looking to continue their fantastic start to the season after winning three of their first four league games. Boss Mikel Arteta has brought in some very strong reinforcements this transfer window, with the likes of Willian and Thomas Partey as the Gunners aim for a high finish in the league table this season.
It is expected to be an electric matchup, with City looking to bounce back to winning ways and Arsenal hoping to continue their excellent run.

Manchester City’s Belgian playmaker Kevin De Bruyne was withdrawn from the national team’s defeat to England after complaining of a muscle problem. The injury is not expected to be serious however Guardiola will be unlikely to risk rushing the midfielder back into action against Arsenal this weekend.
Brazilian Gabriel Jesus is still sidelined with a muscular injury while Sergio Aguero is yet to feature for City this season. With both of their strikers missing, Raheem Sterling is expected to lead the attack line.
Arsenal will be without youngsters Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli who are still recovering from injuries. Left back Kieran Tierney is a doubt for the weekend as he is currently self-isolating after coming in contact with a Scotland teammate who tested positive for coronavirus. Arsenal’s latest signing, Thomas Partey is also expected to make his debut against City from the bench on Saturday.
