Russian winger and Valencia starman Denis Cheryshev has been ruled out for rest of the season with a knee injury.
Valencia confirmed Cheryshev’s knee injury:
“Following tests undertaken on Monday, Denis Cheryshev has been diagnosed with a capsuloligamentous injury to his right knee, with a tibial plateau fracture.
“The Valencia CF player will miss the remainder of the season due to the injury.”

He will miss Valencia’s Copa Del Rey finale against Barcelona and Europa League semi-finals against Arsenal as well.
After helping Valencia knock-out parent club Villarreal out of Europa League in the Quarters – he will miss their run-in against English giants Arsenal.
Cheryshev is in his second loan spell at Valencia, making twenty-seven appearances for Marcelino’s men this season.
Its now left to see that if Valencia will decide whether or not to trigger a reported €7million option to buy Cheryshev from Villarreal.
