Arsenal supporters are very excited over imminent arrival of William Saliba next summer and with what he is doing in France right now – he is practically taking the burden at Saint-Eienne’s and looks ready for life in London.
Saliba was sidelined for the opening seven league games owing to hamstring injury and Saint-Etienne struggled in his absence. After the run of four losses, two draws and only one win – Claude Puel’s side struggled to cope up without young Saliba, and since his return they’ve recorded four wins and a draw in five fixtures, with Saliba donning the defence in all of five games.
Frenchman’s latest contribution came against League’s top scorer Wasim Ben Yedder, as three points against Monaco life them just two points from second place and Arsenal fans can’t believe they have William Saliba joining forces next campaign.
Bernard Diomede remarked young Saliba as “cold blooded” on the field and complemented the fact that he is impassive and impassable.
As stated by The Athletic, William is already working on his English as he prepares for life in the Premier League and his commitment for Eitenne is still exceptional despite knowing his long-term future rather belongs in London. Yet, he is not only trying to improve but also giving his all for the club.
And Arsenal fans will certainly be delighted with his mentality, especially with Unai Emery struggling to integrate the same in his defence despite acquiring the experienced duo of David Luiz and Sokratis.
