Bukayo Saka is in the final negotiations to extend his contract until 2029, as per the Arsenal Fanatics News on the Patreon.

At this moment, the English star is worth more than his weight in gold, and his goal contributions are seen on a regular basis for the Gunners. They were almost inevitable when their academy graduate hit top gear. With nine goals and 13 assists in 24 matches, he is flying this season. However, a hamstring injury has halted his progress, and he is currently sidelined at least until March.

But this can never take away the fact that the club needs this magical attacker at N5 for years to come. Bukayo signed a new deal back in May 2023 that runs until 2027.

With just two years remaining on his new deal, the North London outfit wants to avoid any last-minute hassle and extend the 23-year-old’s contract. Saka, at the moment, earns £195,000 per week, behind the likes of Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard, Thomas Partey, and even Gabriel Jesus.

Saka’s agents will rightly be demanding a lucrative deal with his immense contributions in recent years and the deal has now moved towards its final stage, and it is highly likely that both parties have met on common ground.

He is Arsenal’s best attacker, and that should reflect in his wages going forward. This will also prevent other European bigwigs from making a move.

Mikel Arteta and co. will now focus on supporting the Hale End graduate in his recovery process. Getting him back on time without compromising his fitness is their main goal.

The next two months will be tough due to the number of games being played and increased competition in major tournaments. We expect the club to dive into the January transfer market to look for a solid backup for Saka.

Players like Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Jesus can also step into this role, but they need to make sure that the goals keep flowing from the right flank. Saka was a mainstay in Arteta’s squad, and replacing him is always a tricky task.

A new contract will not only secure the winger’s attacking assets but will also make sure that the club fully benefits from his fiery form.
